transformers chinese boxed set how to turn off chinese subtitles?

I can't turn off the chinese subtitles from my Transformers DVD boxed set that features all four seasons of the origional cartoon series. I bought the boxed set online. Please advise.

1. Go the main menu and try to change the audio into english, or check your romote it should have a button that can change the language.
2. Is it possible that you bought one of these black copies and not an original? It can happen that the black copies have flaws like the one you described. Better give it back.
