how do i get my english subtitles to work on a spanish channel?

i have already tried cc3, but it won't work. I have also called my television customer service but they didn't help much either.

2. You can't get it to work because there are no subtitles in English for Spanish shows. Someone would have to translate the transcript of the show, type it and provide it. No one would do that since the audience is entirely for Spanish speaking persons. Only in the US do some TV shows decide to do the opposite and play a dub of the voices in another language on the alternate sound channel. Americans want a wider audience, Mexicans don't.
