Get Subtitles

I subscribe to the Anime Network but I want subtitled Anime. Is there a legal service with subtitled anime?

The service would have to be online like the way YouTube used to show anime. I have cable and can only subscribe to what they offer. Close captioned in English would also be fine.

2. the way YouTube "used" to show Anime? They still do! Anime is probably the most abundant media on YouTube, I'd say. As far as "legal" subs of Anime, well, you'll have to buy the DVDs. Japan and areas nearby it may have close captioning in English, but you'd have to have a satellite dish to pull those! (and it would still be a hassle!) Best bet is to just to do dload/watch'em quasi-legally via fansubs, YouTube, etc. Although companies don't make money directly off these subs, they still make money off of merchandise and media you buy as a result of the subbing, which is why I believe companies haven't cracked down hard at all on fansubbing. Lastly, way to acquire quality anime english subs is through torrents... if you don't know exactly what those are or how they work, just pose it in another "question"! Anywho, hope that helps!
3. the best site i know is www.veoh.com this shows anime, just like youtube, but in better quality, larger screen, and they dont remove any shows. you dont have to subscribe to watch, but i recomend you do, its free to do so, and this way you can save favourites, an also swithch off the parental guide, which for anime you need to do, as they class anything with violence as 18+ hope you like it as much as me!!!
4. I subscribe to Narutofan.com .... they have 2 hundred plus ongoing series for 5 bucks a month ... Download the episodes and keep them as long as you want. Everything's subtitled.

6. yes, the best for me is veoh.com. try it. it is really better than youtube by two ways. (1) quality (2) downloadable videos i've watched and downloaded anime there and so far, its been so much fun. most of their animes are subbed too. good luck!
