Remove subtitles from ripped dvd?
i ripped a dvd of mine using dvdfab(trial version), and turned it into avi form for use in windows movie maker, in the preview there were no subtitles on it, however when I opened it in movie maker, they were there. How do I get rid of them? Can I? What do I do, so that when I do the process again, it doesn't happen again? Anyone? Thanks so I can't use dvdfab to rip the dvds, so that won't happen?

- Simply put... you can't, you'd have to re-rip it. There are two types of subs: -Hard subs. They are encoded over the actual video. They have a consistent look on every computer (same size, same exact place, etc.) since it is part of a video. They cannot be removed. -Soft subs, as an external file. These are selectable. They can vary in font, exact positioning, size, etc., and can be disabled. DVDFab does hard subs- you'd need to rerip the DVD. Hope this helps!
