  1. ok the easiest way to play movies and subtitles downloaded from the internert in to download VLC player (plays most files) (videolan.org) then for the subtitles u need to extract them for that you need a program called winrar (rarlabs.com) then when u extracted the files from the rar, then open vlc go to file, open advance , then put in the location of the movie and the subtitles, your done, good luck
  2. Hey, the rar file is an archive. You need winrar to open it. once you have opened it you have to extract the sub files (probably .srt) to the same folder as your film. Once thats done, download vlc player and open them both up with that. (in vlc player go to file > open file > then open the avi file then click subtitles option then click settings then selet the srt file then click ok and ok again.)
  3. Extract the subtitles file with winrar ( http://www.rarlabs.com/download.htm ). Make sure it's named the same as the movie file (except for the extension) and if you have directvobsub installed it should automatically find the subtitles and load them. (DirectVobSub is normally installed with most codec packs including haali media splitter and ffdshow)
  4. If it's in .rar form, you'll need winrar to open it. Download it, then right click on the file and press 'extract file'. Then download VLC media player. Put the subs and the video in the same folder, and make sure they have the exact same name. Then use VLC media player to play the video. The subs will automatically appear.
