Get Subtitles

how do i addd subtitles to a movie?

i downloaded a foreign-languaged film and it came with the *.avi file and an *.eng.srt file, which seems to be the subtitle when i opened it up with the microsoft notepad program. question is, how do i burn my dvd and have subtitles? i am using a nero vision 4 program to burn dvd's it was not a notepad file. it was actually an eng.srt file, i just tried to open it with notepad

1. i am not sure if u can burn the dvd with the subtitles..,. what u said is u got a notepad file with the subtitles u need a software to get that played in tandem with the film.. u can search for pgms like thta.. i guess u have one called vobsub.. i had used it long back.. very nice..
2. if you just want to watch that movie on your own computer yu just need player that play movie also play subtitle (*.srt file) There are many free program can do that like : 1, BSPlayer 2. Divx Player 3. VideoLan Player (VLC) 4. etc Thats all Andi Ahdin Indonesia
