Get Subtitles

how do you sync the subtitles along with the movie?

I downloaded the VLC media player and the subtitles showed along with the movie. The problem is that it won't sync together. [like the subtitles are delay or ahead than the actor speaking.] -my subtitle file is .srt -my video file is .wmv My other question: is that people said that you can rename one of your subtitle file to the same name file as you have in your video. example: samename.wmv samename.srt & so i did that and opened the video file on my Windows Media Player, but the subtitles won't show up.

  1. First, make sure you put the sub and the movie in the same file/folder, have the same name. all that crap. To be able to watch the sub, download the vobsub codec, and watch it using DivX Player http://www.divx-digest.com/software/vobsub.html or this BSPlayer http://www.bsplayer.org/en/bs.player/home/?BSPLAYER=e2ac0eaa3a6084e2d114d68d427a24cd They're both free. I prefer the VOBSUB one because the sub doesn't look as big. But just use the one you're comfortable with. Good luck. :]
