How to make subtitles of video clip file show on the video?

I downloaded a torrent of the last movie of death note:L: Change The World by FXG and I got the subtitles file in SRT and movie in video clip type but when I play the video the subtitles doesn't show. Why and how can I open them?

1. You need to rename either the .srt or video so that it's the same name. 2. ye as it is told u need to be sure the names of video and subtitles r same like movie.avi and movie.srt. u also need pure codec or klmcodec to run the movie with subtitles. download link for pure codecs http://w17.easy-share.com/1700879811.html
