Get Subtitles

Does Netflix or some other service offers subtitles to the instant movies on your download?

I am a partially hearing impaired costumer, you may expect your 10 points from me for a usable answer.

1. I can talk only about Netflix I dont know about other services but since Netflix leads this category I'll say the others arent much different. Netflix only offers subtitles on Watch Instantly to foreign films as it is burned into the stream. They dont put them on non foreign films because most customers would not like subtitles which they couldnt turn off so thats why they dont burn them into the stream. They say that they have them on their DVDs and that sometime in 2010 they hope, first for PC's and Macs then TV that they cant have it as an option. Hope that helps.
