  2. Well, you can always buy them. ;) If you want them online there's always youtube. Some Swedish movies I like: .:. Let the Right One In (2008) .:. Oscar, an overlooked and bullied boy, finds love and revenge through Eli, a beautiful but peculiar girl who turns out to be a vampire. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NiLrVn-WYRY .:. Arn - The Knight Templar (2007) .:. Arn, the son of a high-ranking Swedish nobleman is educated in a monastery and sent to the Holy Land as a knight templar to do penance for a forbidden love. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4sGb3V9omC0 .:. Patrik Age 1.5 (2008) .:. A Swedish gay couple adopt what they think is a 15-month-old orphan, only to meet their new son, a 15-year-old homophobic delinquent. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YKnu1OjQH0o .:. Evil (2003) .:. Based on Jan Guillou's semi-autobiographical novel Ondskan from 1981. The film is set in a private boarding school in the year 1959 with institutional violence as its theme. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=426LSBq3dQI .:. All Things Fair (1995) .:. About a sexual relationship between a teacher and her 15 year old student in southern Sweden during World War II. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=prrWo3slV0I And so on... :) Another option if your Swedish is not that good is to watch Disney movies dubbed in Swedish (since you've presumably seen the originals). Kid's movies tend to use simple and clear language as well. :) You can find them on youtube too.
  3. I am also learning Swedish, and I have found it better to watch English films with Swedish subtitles than vice versa. That way you can hear the dialogue and take it in without having to think, while also learning Swedish by reading simultaneously. If I watch Swedish films I concentrate too hard on the English subtitles (in order to follow the film) and forget to listen to the dialogue! Umm... I hope this made sense, it seemed clearer in my head!
