How to add Subtitles to a Disk using Nero 9?
Hiya Yahoo Answers. I'm having a bit of a dilemme at the moment. Here's my issue: I would like to add subtitles to a DVD... Info. 1. I have .avi files of the movies on my hard-drive. 2. I have the subtitle files -- .srt files ( downloaded from : http://subscene.com/default.aspx) 3. I have Nero 9. Normally - i've been burning all my videos using nero 9 vision - but without subtitles. Now, i would like to burn the subtitles along with the .avi file to a cd and watch it on my tv. I have 4.7GB CD-R files Btw - can i please have STEP BY STEP instructions. I would really like to watch movies with subtitles!!

- Subtitles would have to be added before burning with Nero. You can do this using Windows Movie Maker.
- Standard DVD players read the .Vob format, the files you have now are in AVI format.. I would recommend you download ConvertXtoDVD. Ive been using it, it works just great. It will automatically convert to DVD format, readable by all standard dvd players, it will then burn automatically to DVD... it is easy to use, fast and it works perfect for me.. give it a try, you'll love it 1. Download ConvertXtoDVD here: http://convertxtodvd.burner-software.com It can convert any video file.. like wmv, mkv, mp4, avi to dvd 2. Add or drag-n-drop as many video files as the DVD can handle 3. Insert blank DVD 4. Click "Convert" 5. Enjoy watching those video files on your home DVD player! =)
