Movie subtitles?

I'm interested in translated some old foreign movies to include english subtitles. Who do I need to talk to? What do people get paid for that?

1. You probably need to find out who holds the rights to the movies, contact them and ask if there are any plans to re-release the film(s). Then you can offer your services if they are planning to re-release.
