Where to download subtitles for Sword of the stranger anime ?

Equally important - HOW??? because whenever I download the subs that come out on Google search first, I get some SRT files (26kb) and i don't know how to use them. I try inserting them in the movie on every player I've got (MPC, Divx player, Real player) and nothing, they don't interact. Please tell me in simple language what to do because I'm know only basics with computers. Thanks
