How do I open a sub titles folder?

Lets say i download a torrent that has a subtitle package. How do i open this and apply it to the torrent. Please explain as simply as you can, like you were explaining it to a 5 year old in crayola Yes i want to know how to open a file that contains subtitles its a RAR file

I`ve never heard of applying a "subtitle package" to a torrent. -edit- To open a .rar file, you need a program called WinRar to extract it. Search on Google for a free download of WinRar. If you need more help, just keep posting here. I`ll check every 15 minutes.
