How to add subtitles permanently in a movie?

hello, i have one japanese movie in avi format and i have the english subtitles of that movie. And i want to add those subtitles permanently in the movie, so that even if i burn it to dvd it will show subtitles in dvd player.

1. name of d subtitle file and name of d video file should b d same.... but d extension should not b renamed..
2. Subtitle file and movie file should contain same name (any name but should be same) and both of them should be in same folder. Subtitle file format should be ".srt" e.g.: movie: Changeling.avi subtitles: Changeling.srt Then put these two files in a single folder.Then burn the dvd.
