How will Obama's cozy relationship with the drug industry affect the cost of our health care?
Now that Obama has kissed the ring of the drug industry and accepted their $150,000,000 "gift" in exchange for not establishing any sort of nasty controls on their huge profits ....(which $150 million we will pay with increased prescription prices .... Thanks, Obama!) AND considering this tiny bit of language in the Health Care "Deform" bill: Sec. 223, PAYMENT RATES FOR ITEMS AND SERVICES (e) CONSTRUCTION.—Nothing in this subtitle shall be construed as affecting the authority of the Secretary to establish payment rates, including payments to provide for the more efficient delivery of services, such as the initiatives provided for under section 224. Section 223, PAYMENT RATES FOR ITEMS AND SERVICES: (f) LIMITATIONS ON REVIEW.—There shall be NO administrative or judicial REVIEW of a payment rate or methodology established under this section or under section 224. Do you think the cost of health care just MIGHT go up even more? http://www.nytimes.com/2009/08/09/health/policy/09lobby.html

- President George Dubya Bush allowed the drug companies to advertise on TV and pass the costs into the price of the drugs. Now all you see on TV is prescription drug commercials. Get in touch with reality at your next available chance.
- not better
- prescriptions will go up until they are too expensive to use,but that is good in the sense that these pharmaceuticals are designed mainly to make profits and what would expect in a capitalistic vulture type economy.I prefer more modern stuff such as Royal Rife frequency generators /collidal silver/health foods/jim Humble MMs invented to cure malaria and much more.new items are not designed to have side affects as are pharmaceuticals.Too quick cures may cause upsets but slowing it down fixes it.Another thing needing fixing is USA corruption type politics.Ignoring the constitution is not the way to fix it.Not at all.
