how can i translate the ice age 3 movie?

I have the ice age 3 movie avi Xvid but it don't know how to translate it i downloaded subtitles from subscene site but it didn't work.

1. all you need is any version of vlc player then drag the avi Xvid and drop it into the launched player.it should work
