Should I write a cover letter if I hand-deliver my resume to prospective companies not advertising positions?
I am trying to get a job as a subtitle/caption editor and decided to take my resume to all the companies that offer these services in my area. Since none of these companies have openings for an editor advertised and I am going in person, do you think I should still write a cover letter?

- Yes. You should attach a cover letter along with your resume even if you are personally delivering the information. Think of a cover letter as the additional tool to capture the audience and add additional information not mentioned on your resume. Or utilize the cover letter to highlight information you want to reiterate to the future employer. Best of Luck
