Get Subtitles

What are some websites where I can download subtitles?

I need the subtitles for a film. It's called "Haxan." I think I've found the subtitles, it's just that whenever I try downloading them, my computer doesn't recognize them. I don't know why this is. Anyone know why this is or does anyone know some websites that offer subtitles for movies? Specifically, for "Haxan"? Any help will be rewarded.

1. When you do your web search for your movie add: srt to your search. Chances are this will turn up a subtitle file to go with your movie. Save it where your movie file is and likely your player will load the .srt file for you (this is the case with VideoLan Client).
