How to add subtitles into a movie/video?

I have a korean movie (avi) and a (ssa) subtitles that already goes with the movie. How do i combine them together so that i can put it on my ipod?

3. ok, if your downloaded movie has subtitles with it (in another file) then you go to your music player (real, wma, avi) and go to file, there should be 'insert subtitles', then convert it into the ipod file extention.. put it in and voila! cheers!
