Get Subtitles

How do i save subtitles to a movie to make one seperate file(movie+subtitles)that i can open n any media playr?

i have win subtitler and i cant figure out how to save the subtitles to the movie that i can watch on my dvd with the subtitles downloaded from the net???Plz very urgent
