When I right click, how do I get the 'open with --> notepad'?

I'm trying to open a video with subtitles and if I want just the subtitles I'm supposed to right click the link then click on open with then click notepad. Well when I right click I only have, Open, Open in new window, Save target as, Print target, Copy shortcut, Add to favorites, Google search, Send to, Page info and Properties. Can someone help me figure out how to get "Open with"? Thanks Just a clarification, I'm not trying to view a video with notepad. I'm trying to view the subtitles. It is all in text. My problem is that when I right click, the "Open with" is not one of the options. How can I get it? Thanks

1. Right-Click the file (whatever file has the extension you want) Click "Open With", "Choose Program", choose the program you want to open the extension type with. There you go. I know your problem and there is the solution (that is how to view the file with notepad.
2. Thats impossible.. you need video editing software.
3. i never heard that before. thats impossible to use notepad for videos
4. ok u have to left click on the file u want (select it )and then press (ctrl or shift key) (this will work but i am not sure which key between the both will do the trick) once try pressing and holding ctrl and right click if this work happy or try pressing an holding on to shift and right click that is it u will have an option "Open with" enjoy thank you for the time hope this helps
