How to resize subtitles on videos to convert to avi?

The video and subtitles are not separate and the subs are sooo small and i can't even see it on tv.

1. There's nothing you can do about it if it's already been hardsubbed, since it's been combined into the video. Your best bet will be to try and find a copy of the RAW video plus the separate softsubs, and reburn it. That way you'll be able to customize the size of the subtitles within your DVD authoring program.
