Get Subtitles

Subtitles are not working for movies.?

I have downloaded a movie from torrent and have downloaded the subtitles of that movie from subscene.com. I have put them both together under the same folder with the same name but when i open the axxo file in VLC or wm Player the subtitles are not coming. Please help

1. Subtitles are disabled by default in VLC. You should be able to view subtitles by going, in VLC, to Video>Subtitles Track and choosing the subtitle. (The video should be loaded to play when you do this)
