Get Subtitles

Dear tech masters: How do I burn a video to dvd when the subtitles are in a separate file?

I have a downloaded foreign video with no subtitles; the subtitles are a separate file downloaded from another site which has to be loaded into the player in order to view the video together with the subtitles . It appears that the only program I can use to view both the video and subtitles is BS Player. Is there anyway I can burn the video plus the subtitles as one onto disc? Thanks guys, I'd really appreciate your help on this one.
