When i download subtitles for some divx movies it happens that there is just a time difference b/w them? i used subtitle editor to get it corrected for the start of the movie by applying time delay but after 2 3 mins again there come a phase difference.what should i do.

Problems with the subtitles when watching DIVX movies? Trying To Watch a Movie that has no subtitles? lets say a downloaded an movie that has some parts in it that has no subtitles. Most of it is in English and some is in korean. How to use .sub subtitles in VLC Media Player? Some have said .sub works on VLC media player when playing a movie. But I cannot get it to work. After I load the subtitle file (with the extension .sub) it keeps giving me this error message: "VLC can't recognize the input's format: The format of 'C:/Users/Troy/Downloads/ilym.sub' cannot be detected. Have a look the log for details." I have use the same name for both files and place them in the same folder. Still doesn't work. It has bad video quality but with good/correct subtitles. Good quality is when the images/animation is smooth. When you look at that video, you see pixels (tiny boxes). Isn't that annoying? Bad subtitles is when the subtitles are different from what the character is saying. I know a bit of japanese so i know when i'm reading the wrong subtitles. I've tried a few bittorrents but for some reason when I try to play it it says that the file is corrupt that or my computer doesn't have that format. Where can i get the episodes in either real player, divx, or windows media format for free? What bittorrents do you suggest? uTorrent sucks in my opinion. PLEASE HELP ME!!

Video with subtitle problems (DXSB), audio problems in DiVX player only? So I have an avi file that comes with encoded subtitles. Here are specs from GSpot: video codec= xvid iso mpeg-4 audio codec= 0x2000 (dolby ac3), ac3 I believe that the subtitles are in a DXSB format (no idea what that means though except that it should be encoded in the file itself). When I first tried playing it in Media Player 11, it kept trying to download a codec and failed. So I upgraded Divx and it started to play. But when I play the file in Media Player or MP Classic, no subtitles show up. When I play it in Divx player, the subtitles show but the audio is all garbled and hissy. What am I missing here? Also, is there a way to extract the DXSB subs into a separate file so I can just manually load the subs? Also, the video/audio are fine in VLC but VLC doesn't handle DXSB subs apparently... K-Lite worked to fix audio problems in DivX, but subs still not showing up in MP and MPC!

Need help playing .avi file with subtitles! (.srt) please please help (POINTS!)? I love watching foreign films but I have forgotten how to open a .avi file with the subtitle file, so they play at the same time. The two files are seperate. I have divx and different subtitle playing programs, the file names are the same but when i play the movie (clicking on the .avi file) the subtitles are absent. I can't seem to find a place on divx where there is an option to open subtitles too. Can someone tell me step by step how to physically open the file? or some other tips? Maybe a better program than divx? Windows media player does not work either. thanks so much! I have movies downloaded that i can't play ugh!
